Enamelled Flower Class $350
One day {7 Hours with 1 Hour Lunch}
Students will receive a template of flower petals, stem and stamen. The focus of the class will be learning how to animate the petals by texture and shaping.
- Learn to texture and shape the petals with various tools and heat from a forge and torch
- Tap a thread that will attach the stamen to stem through the petals to hold it all together
- Enamelling three layers of colour.
- Finishing with paste wax
Come and dip your toe into a fun class forging metal flowers in a supportive inclusive environment and take home a flower of your own design. No previous blacksmithing skill needed.
You will need to wear durable closed in shoes, natural fibre pants and shirt that can get a little grubby. All other safety gear will be provided.
Bring a water bottle, tea and coffee available.
Ages from 12 to 16 need to be accompanied by a parent. Classes are located in Bayswater, address and further details will be emailed once course is booked and paid for.
RETURNS AND CANCELLATIONS
Classes are a small group of four in order to offer the best possible experience therefore courses need to be fully booked to be viable. If you need to cancel or reschedule we will do our best to fill your spot in which case you will be refunded. But if we are unable do so, the following will apply:
Cancellations or reschedules more than 2 months before the course starts: 10% administration fee will be deducted.
Cancelations or reschedules less than 2 moths before the course starts: 50% of the course fee will be refunded
Cancellations or reschedules less than 2 weeks before the course starts no refunds will be given.
If the class is cancelled by the operator, or within 24 hours of booking, a full refund will be given.
